So...I love random moments in life. Therefore, my blog about myself is going to be full of randomness.
For instance, one of my favorite desserts is lime sherbet with chocolate sauce. This may sound disgusting, but people need to have more adventure in life.
Also, I really hate armpits, and I think they have very little purpose in life.
I never really wanted to be an English major, and now I find it oddly disconcerting that I am enjoying it... Who looks forward to being a nerd the entire life?
If I become an English professor, I will wear tweed. And argyle sweaters. But I want to have dogs instead of cats.
I eat like a hobbit. Who would want to have 3 meals a day, when you can have 7?
Getting up in the early morning and doing absolutely nothing is one of my favorite things. Ice cream is much in the morning, I recommend it.
And on a real note... I think I would like to become a good teacher. I don't really want to do anything in life without having some passion for it.

I like your randomness, Stephanie--though I might call it rebellion, or contrariness...!
Ever try grapefruit juice and peppermint patties? You should!
Without armpits, we'd be a LOT hotter.
And I hope you DO become a good teacher! Wanting to do so is the first step.....
Here's a challenge: Try questioning everything. Don't accept ANYTHING anyone says or writes. See what happens as you stop taking what people say/write as gospel. Then you're well on your way to becoming a good, reflective grad student (and not a nerd).
